Snuggling in the cold (canadaxreader)

You shiver again. The cold air makes your breath visible, likely from a mile away. Darn false weather reports, you mumble to yourself as you hug your thin jacket closer to your numb body.

"Hey, (y/n)!" you hear a voice call and you look up to see your blonde friend looking warm as ever, with his huge coat on and obviously his glasses. You do your best to move your face muscles into a small smile as you say,

"You're so lucky to have that huge coat all the time, the weatherman said it would only be mildly chilly!"

He laughed, replying, "But it is only mildly chilly for up here, eh?" You groan and plop down onto the half-frozen bench, him sitting next to you. You sat there for a moment, and he looked at you as if he were deciding on doing something, and then he opened his coat and wrapped it around you as well as him, so that he was hugging you close to his own warm body. You blush and snuggle closer to him, wrapping your own arms around his chest.

He buries his face into your hair, mumbling, "I've wanted to do that for a long time, you know."

Looking up at his face, you smile at him and say, "I have too, you know." He lets go of you with one arm to cup your cheek in his hand and pull your face closer to his own. Your faces get closer and closer, as if you were about to kiss, when the bus comes. You both stand, and, hand in hand, climb onto the bus.

He sits next to you, mumbling into your ear as he grabs your hand, "We can continue that kiss later, where it's not so public." You nod, smiling. You couldn't wait for that kiss.
